Clarity Sidekick Data Controls and Account Deletion

Clarity Sidekick is designed to give users practical control over saved information and connected services. This page explains how to disconnect Google, request deletion of connected data, and delete a Clarity Sidekick account.

Disconnect Google

You can disconnect a Google connector through the connection controls available in Clarity Sidekick. You can also revoke Clarity Sidekick's access from the third-party access or connected-app controls in your Google Account.

Disconnecting stops new authorized access through that connector. If more than one Google connector remains active, Clarity may retain the shared Google authorization needed for the remaining connected features.

Disconnecting does not automatically delete Gmail metadata/snippets, Calendar records, or Google-derived information already stored in chat/tool history. You can request deletion of eligible connected data as described below, or delete your Clarity Sidekick account.

Request deletion of Google-connected data

To request deletion of eligible Google-connected data associated with your Clarity Sidekick account, contact zac@claritysidekick.com from the email address associated with your account and use the subject line Google Data Deletion Request.

Include only the information needed to identify your account. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, or other credentials.

Clarity may verify your identity before completing the request. Eligible data will be deleted or de-identified subject to applicable legal, security, backup, and third-party platform requirements.

Delete your Clarity Sidekick account

Clarity Sidekick mobile applications that support account creation provide or are intended to provide a readily discoverable account-deletion path inside the app. An external deletion path is also provided here for users who no longer have access to the app.

If you cannot access your account or the in-app deletion path, contact zac@claritysidekick.com from the email address associated with the account and use the subject line Account Deletion Request.

When account deletion is completed, Clarity deletes or de-identifies account-associated personal data, including stored chat history, saved memory, OAuth credential records, and synced Gmail and Calendar connector caches, except information that must be retained for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, billing, tax, legal, or regulatory purposes. Protected backups may take additional time to age out.

You may also revoke Clarity Sidekick's Google access directly from your Google Account at any time.

Saved memory and content

Where product controls are available, you can review, correct, and delete eligible saved memory, notes, open items, and other content without deleting the entire account.
